On October 13, 2021, the biomedical national competition of the 10th China Innovation & Entrepreneurship Summit reached its final stage in Hangzhou.

This year’s competition attracted a total of 33,289 registered enterprises nationwide, with 4,931 from the biomedical sector. Through multi‑tier selection across 37 regional contests, 340 biomedical enterprises advanced to the national finals. They were divided into 12 groups—3 start‑up groups and 9 growth groups—with each group evaluated by a panel of five experts and investors from the industry. Assessments were based on technology, market potential, team strength, financial status, and other professional criteria. Ultimately, 132 companies were honored with the “Outstanding Enterprise” award.  MAaGI Medical stood out during the competitive regional selection and represented the Shanghai division in the national biomedical competition. In its debut participation, the innovative potential of its “ Multimodal Tumor Thermal Therapy System” project received high recognition from the judges. The company achieved an excellent ranking (third in its group), placing it among the Top 100 National Enterprises in the growth category.

The China Innovation & Entrepreneurship Competition The China Innovation & Entrepreneurship Competition is a nationwide entrepreneurship contest guided by the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Education, the Cyberspace Administration of China, and the All‑China Federation of Industry and Commerce. With the theme “Technological Innovation, Achieving Great Endeavors,” it has become one of the most influential innovation and entrepreneurship brand events in China.
